GEEZERS NITE OUT
HALLOWEEN BAND BASH
Two Bands played for a Halloween Party at the Houston Pub Hall in Norton, OH. The Phantom Band, and The Legends Band. They each played an hour set followed by a short break, and then they both played together at the end of the nite.
It was a very different, and unique experience for the musicians involved. There was a very good crowd for a Wednesday nite. The Houston Pub posted pictures, and a comment on Facebook saying: "It was a packed house at Houston Pub Wednesday night."
Below are photos from the evening of both bands, the bands together, and the crowd taken by our photographer Bob Swisher. Thanks Bob!
Enjoy!
No, this is NOT the most
interesting man in the World.
It is our photographer who
brought you all of these pics
except this one, Spike (Bob Swisher).
Thanks Spike!Look who we found in the crowd. Why it's Gary Parker
mostly known for his tenure
with one of the best bands in the area in the early 60's called The Counterpoints.
He has since hit the circuit again with the Gary Parker
Trio who play every Monday
from 7:00 - 9:30 PM at the New Era in Ellet. Those in this pciture that I
recognize are (Far left), Bob
Adamov chatting with Tom
Riley who was the Operations
Manager for Goodyear Blimp
Operations. In the far right corner is Gary Dannemiller, Mgr of Benefits at Goodyear. Here are some of the costumed crowd doing a line dance to some of the live music that nite. The next two pictures are of

the Phantom Band, Big Daddy. He is conversing with one of his associates from Goodyear,
Victor Head. Victor sat in with
the Pahntom Band on a few
numbers including Mustang Sally. He currently is a member of the Howrad Street Blues Band. This is quite a picture. From the left is Kris Conley, Joe Buz from the Phantom Band, Phyllis Bshop with her husband Jack
standing in the back, and Doug Bender, also from the band. You will never see
these five people together again! Me (Joebo), and Krisko. Kris
is a good friend and former
girlfrienn of our dear departed
friend and band mate, Dano
Powell. It is always good to
see her. Two days after this picture was taken she retired
from Goodyear. More former Goodyear associates and friends of the
Phantom Band enjoying the evening. A pic of Joebo, in the white wig, with Jack Bishop. They
are good friends and former band members. This is a candid shot taken
by our photog, Bob Swisher, is of Kay Lucas, a good friend
of the Geezers. S.B. (Dougie Bender), dancing

year? We'll nver tell! A picture of Me (Joebo) with
Lucy and her friend Tom.
Tom is an officer in the Electricians Union, and hired
the Phantom Band to play for
their election party a couple of
years ago with the late sax player Donnie Guinter.

Another picture of the crowd.
Those at the table that I
recognize are, from L-R
Billy Bob, R. B., and Mark Babich. If you were at that table then you know you were sitting there. Krisko (Kris Conley) wearing
S. B.'s (Dougie) weird hat.
It looks like it was made for her.Another shot of the early crowd. Among those in
attandance were Karen Inman,
