Another Cleveland Indians Opening Day.  Another Cleveland Indians Opening Day Loss!

That my friends is why we, don't go up to Cleveland any longer to watch the game in person. We haven't done that for...around 5 years. And the loss by the Tribe, Monday, April 8, to the New York Yankees by a score of 11-6 was the Fifth year in a row that they have lost the Home Opening Day game.

What we have been doing is getting together at a local sports bar to watch the game. In years past we have gone to Johnny Malloy's behind Chapel Hill Mall.

This year we decided to change it up a bit. We went to a sports bar farther from Akron, and closer to Cleveland, but just quite not that far. We went to The Boneyard in Broadview Heights. A few of the Geezers have been there before and it is a great place. Even though it wasn't very crowded, and the Indians lost we had a good time.

The Geezers were at The Boneyard in Broadview Heights to watch the Cleveland Indinans Opening Day 2013 on The Big Screen. She was very friendly and she took good care of us while she was there. She had to leave at 4:00.As you probably saw if you watched the game this was a very touching scene. That is exactly why we don't go to the games any l longer. We were as dry as a BONE!The next two shots are of soem of the action that was going on during the game.There's SPIKE!This was our other waitress ALEXA. We waited for her to come on at 5:00. She also very friendly and brought us Hot Dogs. $1 Dogs was one of the Specials!Here was our first order of those frisky little devils.Here are two special beers that you just can't get anywhere. It is Kentucky Bourbon Ale. R. B. and tired one. They were very good. Here is one of the Hot Dogs. Just like being at the game... Almost! Here is a pic of former Indinans player TITO FRANCONA. His son TERRY FRANCONA is the new Manager of the Indians for 2013.And here is a TITO FRANCONA look-a-like! It's a joke SPIKE!
