On the Geezers Nite Out for September 16, a few of the Geezers formerly known as The Phantom Band jammed music at Dusty's Yacht Club on the Portage Lakes. It was an impromptu perfromance by Joebo. Dougie, Big Daddy, Hank Inman, and Drumstir (Denny Edwards). The band practiced a few times together, and they have played together previously with various bands, but this was just a jam session for the heck of it to see how it wold be perceived. They talked with Karen, one of the bartenders at Dusty's, about doing this since December of 2008. However, one thing or another came up and they coudln't do it. An innocent email led to this actually happening. Joebo receives emails from Live Nation which lists all of the up and coming concerts in Cleveland, and the surrounding areas. He forwarded a copy to guitarist, bassist, and vocalist Hank Inman. When Hank received the email he sent one back to Joebo saying "let's get the band back together", and that's all it took. However, drummer "Big Daddy" Dan Minier  has been hot on doing this for quite sometime ever since he retired from Goodyear. Below are s few videos that Bob Swisher shot of the jam session with Joebuz's digital Nikon camera. The videos are pretty raw, but that's what this band is all about.
What's the name of the band? Well let's just say that they are a Phantom Band! Enjoy!
