There was going to be a wedding in the Houston Hall the next day. R.B. and SPIKE volunteered to test out the decorations to see how they photographed.No other reason! Wink! Wink! The PHANTOM BAND making last minute adjustments before the Big Gig began!Here is the Geezers Nite Out Entertainment Director, R. B. (Garo) with two of his fellow associates at Goodyear, ViICKY(L) and ROXANNE (Roxy). The next FOUR pictures are of the large crowd who attended the event. (Skinny Boy) DOUGIE.Our drummer (Big D) kept telling us that there would be an UNVEILING during the course of the evening. It had something to do with the Browns new QB Johnny Manziel. I was not in the room at the time, but fortunately SPIKE got a couple of pics.UNVEILING IIHere we have two lovely ladies that most of the Geezers and band know. On the left is LUCY and on the right is MARY LOU. They have never met before. But thru devine intervention they just happened to be in the same place at the same time. They were introduced and I took this pic. Twins?This is a picture that LUCY wanted the band to take with her in it. LUCY is ONE of our GROUPIES. The other is MARDI who lives in Texas. Lucy, Mardi, and S. B. (Dougie) all graduated from Springfield H.S. a long time ago. Mardi could not make it so this pic was for her.This pic was taken by KAREN guitar player, HANK'S, wife. It was taken with a smart phone I assume, but it is a good picture of the band. (Because Big Daddy isn't in it!) LOL!PHYLLIS BISHOP, guitar player/singer JACK's wife, took this pic. We had Jack come up and sing Wooly Bully. He throws in some fake Spanish in one part of the song, and even mentions Taco Bell. Thanks Phyllis and Jack.I believe this pic was taken by PHYLLIS with either her iPad or Smart Phone. The lighting wasn't very friendly to those kinds of cameras. But what is important about it is that she got SWISH taking pics and videos of the band. This is S. B. (Dougie) Phantom Band bass player. I have an idea that it was taken by Groupie/Birthday Girl "Mustang" LUCY!This picture was taken of ME (Joe Buz) by one of my Idols, GARY PARKER, who played with one of the best bands in the Akron area years ago, The Counterpoints. I was honored.This picture was taken by ME (A selfie if you must) long after the party. Even BEFORE the band played one note I fell ON the stage. Not OFF of the stage. It was elevated and I tried to enter it by not using the steps. Didn't work. And NO, I had not had one drink....yet! I played with Pain.
The Phantom Band and Geezers threw a party. Everyone came, and everyone had a good time. And, Yes, it was a Happy Ending. Below is the prooof!
