ST PATTY'S DAY AT
Joebo, Sabrina, and Spike together at Hooley House for the actual St. Patrick's Day celebration. Joebo and Spike were the only Geezers who could make it, and Sabrina stopped in to see the Geezers. so it worked out OK for us.Here is Spike with a young lady who wanted to borrow my hat to see if her freinds recognized her. They did!Here are some of the bartenders at Hooley's. They are also werin' of the Green. Here I (Joebo) am with Sabrina who is wearing her Green cowboy hat, and strategically placed Shamrocks. Sabrina is the bass player in an all girl country band The Honky Tonk Angels.We ran into a wie Leprachan at Hooley's.Joebo and Spike toasting the day. Last year none of the Geezers made it out to celebrate.Here is Sabrina wearing the Shamrock glasses that I gave her. I buy all kinds of St. Patty's trinkets every year, and pass them out to others to wear. I (Joebo) just happened to point my camera down to the floor and I surprised myself by the green soks that I was wearing. They were a gift from a friend.Here is Sabrina toasting the occasion. Not sure what it was, but the young lady in the next picture was selling them.And here is that young lady with a tray of drinks that she was selling. Spike bought a round. I think it was some kind of sour apple drink!A guy selling stickers found a subject in Sabrina. That is all she needed.and here is the St Patty's Sticker Lady.Sabrina striking the pose. I wonder if it made us look any better.Believe it or not there were some Irish Dancers there on this big day.Sabrina was worried about her hair being smashed down by wearing that green cowboy hat. It looked fine to us.And there is one thing I Just have to have on St. Patty's Day. That is Corned Beef and Cabbage. Hooley came thru with the works. It was great.We just never quit taking pictures.
