Geezers Super Bowl Watching at                      Scorchers!
Here are the Coors Light Girls. They are sisters if you were interested in that. They were giving away Coors Light 16 oz glasses and T-Shirts if you bought a Coors Light Beer. Did we? What do you think?Here are the Coors Light Girls trying to talk Joebo into buying a Coors Light beer. You don't see them twisitng his arm do you?I went out Saturday afternoon all over town trying to find Cardinals gear. All I could find was the pennant that we taped to the railing. Here are Drumstir and Dougie giving it there all. Go Cards!We talked the Coors Lite Girls into posing with our pennant. It only cost us another Coors Light! Scorchers passed out 3-D glasses for the commercial following the second quarter. We needed a scissors to get them apart. Dougie was going to use them this way! ArrgggggDougie finally got the glasses apart thanks to our waitress, Melanie, who got us scissors. Sorry, Mel, no pic! Here's Drumstir modeling his glasses. At least he wore a red shirt even though it didn't help! This is Teli, Drumsir's Bro-In-Law. He was chowing down on some food at Scorcers. He coudln't take the game anymore, and left. Faith Hill sang God Bless America at the start of the game. Here is Jennifer Hudson singing a heartfelt rendition of the Star Spangled Banner after her Mother, brother, and nephew's deaths. And we finally cornered Tabitha, one of our Bartenders of The Season for the Summer of 2008, even though we were stuck at a table and we weren't able to converse with her at the bar.
Below are some of the pictures that Joebo took at the Super Bowl party at Scorchers. We reserved a table, and gave up some bar seats, but there were no-shows. Dougie, Drumstir, and Joebo were the only Geezers to show for a table of 6. Drumstir's bro-in-law joined us for as long as he could stand the game. Click on the pictures below to Enlarge.
