HACKER'S ROCKIN'
ON THE RANGE
JULY 5, 2012

The drums are all set up,
and the show was ready
to roll...and rock!

Hacker's has a full bar set
up on the grass near the driving range for their
Range Parties. Here is
BILLY BOB coming back
to our table after he purchased a can of
Yuengling.

HACKER'S also offers
food "from the grill" that is
set up also on the grass
of the range.
Last week they were over where the bar was this
night.
It is very good and reasonably priced.

This is JESSICA, one of
the bartenders on the range that evening.

She was clearing the
tables of empties. Of
course we told her that
they weren't all of ours.

And here in all of their glory
is the BUCK NAKED country band. They were very good, and having a lot of fun.

Here is the band with a lot of their followers lighting up some "Sparklers" to
celebrate the FOURTH OF JULY that was celebrated
the day before.

Here is another guy taking pictures. I love to take
pictures of people taking pictures! I have seen him
there before. I believe that
he is employed by
HACKER'S.

And this party wouldn't
have been complete
without SANTA CLAUS.
We figured that he was
there for CHRISTMAS IN
JULY

I had no idea what was
going on here, but I just
felt like it was a picture
that I had to take.

We always seem to see a look-a-like wherever we
go but most of the time we
do not get a photo of them. This time we did by accident. We think this looks like our good friend
CRAZY RICHIE. As luck would have it, it was Jeanne's husband BOB.

Here is another aquaintence that we know with drink-in- hand and the green shirt, JAMMIE. He used to
manage the Tap House,
but now he is out in
Springfield doing the same thing at Wing Warehouse.

Here is TRICIA, our beertender for the evening. No, she
hasn't just returned from
South Beach. The tan is courtesy of her back yard pool!
Must be nice.

I was actually trying to take a picture of something else on the bar. That is the side of FERGIE'S head. I finally gave him his B-Day card. June 9, was the actual Born Date, but we kept missing conncections.

Here's BILLY BOB eating his popcorn with a FORK. It is a little play on DRUMSTIR'S criticism of R. B.'s manner of eating his slab of Ribs...also with a FORK.

Here is a picture of soemthing that is hard to explain. Let's just say our "Class Clown" had an unusal way of discarding one of his rib
bones from his meal.

And here we have the two participants in the big pool match between MINNESOTA "SKINNY" on the left, and MICKI "THE STICK". Micki challenged him to a match After she saw the pics from his conquest on June 14 at FOX & HOUND.

Here is our other bartender, MIKE. He was the first one behind the bar when I arrived. He does double duty sometimes as a baretnder one day and Manger the next.

Another picture of DARLA. She used to work every Wednesday, but her usual nite iduring the week is Thursday. she always let's u know when she will be there on a Wednesday.

And here is our toast to our dear departed friend, Geezer, and fellow musician, DANO (Dan Powell). He passed away on July 12, 2012 at Akron City Hospital. Click on his picture on the HOME page for more about him.

This is my Alfred Hitchcok moment. I am on the right next to the Fabulous JON E. HOP. (Jon Hopkins). DARLA took this shot. Sometimes she doesn't like the pics that I take of her. I don't really like this one, but could it be the subject?

Here we have two of our bartenders for the evening. That's MIKE on the left,
and the newbie, BECCA.
They say that Mike has a great sense of humor, and
he could even be a professional comedian.

OK, that wasn't MIKE!
And that wasn't PEE WEE either. We were just having
a little fun with Mike Wednesday nite and I
thought that we would
pull a little joke on him. Don't mess with GEEZERS.
This is MIKE with BECCA..

Here is the full team of bartenders. BECCA is
on the left this time, and
then MIKE, and THERESA.

The Galaxy has a great
Menu for the Sports Bar
and Patio during the
warmer months. This is
the Prime Ribe dinner that
was going for only $9.99 on Wednesday. DRUMSTIR
placed an order for one.

He took one bite, and said
that it was over-cooked.
Go back and look at the
pic of the Prime Rib by
itself! It doesn't look like
it was cooked enough to me. But they took it back and
gave him another.

Every Wednesday night
out on the Patio during the summer months
The Galaxy has live entertainment. On this Wednesday it was
LIQUID SKY. An
appropriate name since
there was some rain in
the area.

Here we have four of the many bartenders and servers who work hard to helped us have a good time.
From left to right, we have

This is, KRISTEN, who was our bartender at the bar out on the deck. My niece KRISTEN is also a Bartender/Actress in
L. A., California.

Here was have LEA on the left, and GRACE waiting at the bar for their drinks to be created by KRISTEN.

This is the Wednesday night Special that BILLY BOB ordered. It is a sirloin steak with a baked potato and salad.
Billy Bob said that it was very good. Only $8.99. We don't know how much it will be next week!

Here is the BIG BOI'S bill that R. B. doctored up while it's owner was in the bathroom.
R. B. has an uncontrollable urge to taunt the Big Boi when he is not around.

And here is R. B.'s bill which he is holding in his hand.
R. B. is a nickname that he was given by one of the bartenders a few years ago at the Tap House/Scorchers due to his constant shenanigans. I think you can figure it out.

Here is one of our fave bartenders at Legends, TRICIA.

TRICIA, there's a HAIR in my Menu! The hair belongs to our Entertainment Director, R. B.
It's a long story, but let's just say he bought it a few years ago in Florida when some of The Geezers were down there for the Super Bowl.

SPIKE was the one with the hair in the menu. He placed it back on the bar with the hair inside. There it is lurking waiting for TRICIA to pick it up.

This shot was taken a coupleof seconds after TRICIA picked up the menu and saw the Hair in it! The following two pictures are also of the aftermath of the Hair discovery by Tricia.

And here is TRICIA posing with R. B. wearing "the piece"!

And to make matters worth R. B. decided to display "the piece" in another area of his body.

What is this about? This is SPIKE pouring tomato juice into his beer. Doing what, you say? Beer in tomato juice has been around for many years and originated in Dallas, Texas. It is called RED EYE. Spike drinks it this way to avoid headaches! Whatever works!

what is CEE LO GREEN doing on here? That is what we want to know. We were watching a pre-game show on the NFL network for the Opening Gamewith the sound off, and BOOM all of a sudden there Cee Lo Green pops up on on the screen!

Here is the BIG BOI preparing to leave for the evening. He is waving his check at TRICIA to have her process it immediately. It seems that if he leaves it on the bar our "Class Clown" (R. B.) writes love notes on it to the bartender.

LIQUID SKY performing

really good sounding band. Look for them.

OK, what is this? Weeell
it looks like a pack of cigarettes. However, it
is a "collecotr's item"
from many, many years
ago. They are actually
CANDY cigarrettes.
Maybe they should bring
them back. A gitf from
KRISKO for JOEBO
and GARO that she
ordered Online.

This is a Bloody Mary,
a Rare Occasion. The
BIG BOI ,who has been
on a crash diet for 4 or 5
months, relented and
ordered a BLOODY MARY. Quite out of the ordinary
since he has been nursing drinks most of the time that
he is out.

This is hard to explain. But somehow R. B. is always sitting next to the BIG BOI when he is ready to leave. After the Big Boi signs his check, and leaves it on the bar, R. B. wrties little Love Notes on it so that the bartenders think it was
from him .

evening at The Firehouse. From L-R are

It just so happened that FERGIE'S wife BRENDA,
and the rest of her Gdyr/
Ski Club friends were
having their Nite Out also. I made them let me take a
photo. They were not all happy about it and I can't blame them.

help him from

ALLEN his daughter's (MICHELLE) New son.

The appetizers were Half Price on Wednesday. This
was BILLY BOB'S order of Killer Nachos.

have been there he would have told Fergie the Correct way to eat them.

BUD and I AGAIN. I am
wearing the same Fender guitar glasses, but Bud is
in disguise. The only part
of the disguise are the
purple glasses. That is the
hat that he wears
in Germany.

are at parts unknown.!

hat is TOM DEMALI one
of our fans back in our
playing days. He was there
with his wife, LINDA, in the
background. They just
happened to be there. Tom
has also been a good friend
of The GEEZERS for quite
some time.

Out. Except they were dressed as a Peacock (STACY), and a Parrot
(MARIA). And in the photos
I took that nite they were
standin reversed.

SPIKE! He is heading to Florida next week to take his Mom to his sister's home. It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it.

This is just Vodka, and Tomato Juice. a ctually vodka on The Rocks, but I borrowed some of Spike's T-Juice. And JESSE made it look like a work of art!

KRISKO stopped in to see us since we were on Her side of town. However, she didn't come empty handed. She brought a big plate full of Christmas cookies. The Geezers and bartenders thought they were mavelous!

This is TRICIA, one of our

Legends. This picture
was taken with my new iPhone5. Best one that I (JOEBO) have ever taken
of her.

And this, my friends,
is a pic of KENNY J's
Pilot License. He passed
a grueling test on
October 9, 2012. This is
the first year that they
have plastic License cards.
In case you didn't recognize
them those are the Wright Bros pictured.

Here is R.B.'s play toy. Legends has a couple
of cell phone chargers
on the bar. Of course his
is outdated and doesn't
fit the prongs on it.
However, he puts his
phone up there anyway
and PRETENDS!

Here is what I ordered to
eat from Legends excellent menu. It is a Cobb Salad
with Chicken. It is very
good and Healthy!

BIG BUDDHA ordered
from the menu to eat. It
is a Veggie Plate.
Now which one would

Before you view any of these pictures I (JOEBO) want to tell you that they were taken with my New iPhone5 camera.
There is an Orange backlight above the bar at the Firehouse. The 8 gigabite camera cannot handle it.
My digital Nikon could.

When Pro-Photog ANNIE LEIBOVITZ was a guest with BRIAN WILLIAMS on Rock Center, she said that the best camera for the "average person" was the one in the iPhone when asked. I beg to differ! Just Sayin'!
